Okay, so maybe that's a little extreme but, it's just so true that here and in much of the developing world. My dear friend Tina sent me this article from the NY Times today.
This is sooo true. It's tough to get people to WANT to have clean water, eat vegetables, go to college, have babies at a hospital or just near to emergency care, etc... This lady is brilliant!

I don't think you're "extreme" at all in saying that hand washing is the key to the universe!!! In fact, you hit the nail on the head!
Without hand washing we would all be dead from disease.... and need I say a world without hand washing sends a collective shiver up a nurse's (and OCD sufferer's) spine?
Your mission to bring clean water to another corner of the world is freaky-deaky-fan-flippin-tastic!
Are you going to continue on the mission and begin accepting donations from your "big yellow button" again? I didn't notice that you had a blog before....
